This Ltl Acorn cellular trail camera is 3G compatible and so can send higher quality video and photos to your mobile phone or email address, when triggered by movement, much faster than standard 2G trail cameras.
The 3G cameras also have all of the features of the standard (non-cellular) Ltl Acorn trail cameras such as the ability to record video footage (with audio) or images to SD card, time/date stamping, password protection, infrared brightness adjustment, time lapse, 2 timers to set the camera to record only between certain times of the day/night etc.
These trail cameras use the 940nm covert “no glow” infrared frequency and so are ideal for security surveillance or fly tipping evidence capture applications as well as wildlife video recording and research.
Standard or Basic Model:
Standard – can send full size image or video (less than 50MB) to your email address with a good 3G signal. A full size 1.5MB size image can be sent via 3G in under 1 minute with a strong 3G signal. A video clip of 9.5MB can take less than 2 minutes to send with a strong 3G signal in your camera location.
Basic – can send thumbnail size image (640×480) to your email address via the 3G network.
Available with either the standard lens (6310MG-3G) or with the wide angle lens (6310WMG-3G). The standard lens gives an angle of view of approximately 55 degrees whilst the wide angle lens increases this to approximately 100 degrees. Take a look at through the product images and you will see one which will give you an idea of what to expect from the 2 different lens options.
The Ltl Acorn 6310 series 3G camera can hold up to 12 AA batteries, although it can run off just 4. Battery choice is very, very important for the performance of your camera and we recommend using Panasonic Eneloop Pro 2500mA Rechargeable batteries.
