Choetech GPS Tracker Charging Mat Information
Choetech charging mat is capable of charging many of our GPS trackers. When you buy a tracker you will be sent a charging mat for it if it needs one but this is the place to come if you need a spare!
That charging mat is supplied with a connection cable and a UK 3 pin mains power adaptor.
Instructions for using the charging mat with one of our GPS trackers:
Connect the cable to the mat and the other end to the UK mains adaptor supplied. Plug into a wall outlet and switch on.
Then place the tracker (magnets upwards) onto the mat. You will notice a light on the front of the mat when your tracker is placed in the right position and a connection is made. This light means that your tracker is now charging.
IF YOU CONNECT THE CHARGING MAT DIRECTLY TO A STANDARD USB PORT ON YOUR COMPUTER OR IN YOUR CAR THEN YOUR TRACKER WILL NOT CHARGE EFFICIENTLY AND WILL CHARGE VERY SLOWLY.
A STANDARD USB PORT LIKE THIS ONLY OUTPUTS UPTO 1A. THE TRACKERS NEED 2A WHICH IS WHY WE SUPPLY THE UK MAINS ADAPTOR FOR YOU TO USE.
