Browning Recon Force Advantage Wildlife Trail Camera Trap Information
Another fantastic trail camera from the Browning range. The Recon Force Advantage has been around for many years now and is still a firm favourite among wildlife camera enthusiasts.
The Recon Force Advantage offers excellent quality 20MP photos, 1080p HD video, a fast trigger speed and many other features whilst still being very easy to set up and use. It uses low glow infrared for night vision image capture and video recording and can record video at up to 60fps - something not too many other trail cameras apart from the Browning range can offer.
If you're after completely no glow covert infrared then opt for the Browning Spec Ops Elite trail camera model.
The Recon Force Advantage is robust and reliable. It has a forward facing screen for easy set up and positioning and requires no cabling whatsoever as it is powered from 8 AA batteries. Battery choice is extremely important and we would recommend using no other batteries than the Energizer Ultimate Lithium. You can try other batteries if you wish to of course but you'll probably end up giving yourself (and the camera) a headache! It's designed for a 1.5v input and so we would not advise using rechargeables in this camera. If you want a Browning camera that can work well with rechargeables then opt for the Browning Elite wildlife camera traps instead as these can accept the 1.2v output by rechargeable batteries.
The only other thing you'll need for your Browning Recon Force Advantage camera is an SD card. It can support up to a 512G SD card but this is usually overkill for most users. Usually 32G or 64G is more than enough.
Along with the fantastic image/video quality and the super fast trigger speed this camera also offers another exciting Browning feature called "Smart IR Video". It means that the camera will continue recording video footage for up to 5 minutes during the daytime and up to 20 seconds at night as long as the subject(s) continue to move in front of the camera. This feature can help a lot with battery life as you can set a shorter recorder video length knowing that the camera will continue recording if the action continues. This is just one of many features that the excellent Browning trail cameras offer.
