We are very pleased and proud to announce that we will be supplying the GPS trackers for Jonjo Heuerman’s next charity walk – The Big Football Tag
Jonjo is only 10 years old but has already raised a staggering £90,000 for The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. Jonjo’s next amazing walk for charity is called The Big Football Tag and it involves every football club in the professional league. Jonjo is building a network of fundraisers from each club in England and they will be carrying the captains armband of their own club to the nearet next club on the map, each armband will be attached to a sash which will finally be given to Jonjo at Upton Park (home of West Ham United). Jonjo will then walk to Wembley to collect the England captains armband before turning around and walking back to Upton Park where he will collect the West Ham captains armband in the centre circle before the kick off against Tottenham Hotspur on 23rd February.
Jonjo’s leg of the tag is called Route 66 as it’s 66 miles he will be covering in 6 days – this is to commemorate not only the year of Englands World Cup triumph (1966) but also to remember the number 6 shirt that the great Bobby Moore always wore.
All of the above will be tracked for people to follow live over the internet as on each of the 11 tag routes, the tag teams will carry on of our gps trackers.
