Locals in Royston want a CCTV camera put back in place after vandalism occurred the day after it was taken down.
The vandalism included a bus shelter being smashed and rubbish being dumped. The security camera was at Coombes Community Centre on Burns Road.
Police have said that there is no guarantee the CCTV camera will be restored, however swelling local sentiment and the recent anti-social behaviour could force the issue.
